Missing out on a phone call isn’t a big deal, but missing even a single moment while you are driving could easily cause an accident.

In most states, texting and driving is against the law; even if you do not cause an accident, you could still be issued a ticket. Once you have that ticket in hand, your insurer will likely increase your car insurance premiums; you’re a known risk and an accident waiting to happen.
